Today’s couple, Kristen & Addison, are another couple that had their plans change due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Their original plan was to get married was to have a mid-sized wedding at The Landmark, but two weeks before our date, they had to postpone our wedding due to the outbreak. However, instead of cancelling entirely, they decided to keep their original wedding date and elope instead!

This wedding was so much fun for me to shoot because Addison grew up with my husband, Preston. They were so close that they called each other cousins, so this was a really special wedding for Preston and for me. Addison is such an outgoing, friendly person. No matter where we go, he is making a connection with someone and helping them to feel right at home. And Kristen is the funniest, most caring person in the room. She cares deeply for other people and has the biggest heart. Basically, if you run into Addison and Kristen, you will be loved, cared for, instantly.

Honestly, you would never know that every detail of this wedding wasn’t planned from the very beginning. Addison's dad married them right outside of Flat Iron mountain in the Superstitions in front of their closest family and friends. Kristen wore a stunningly beautiful dress with a gorgeous veil, and the mountains were the perfect backdrop for the perfect couple.

Kristen & Addison, I am so unbelievably grateful and honored to have been able to shoot your special day. Thank you for inviting me into your wedding, your marriage, and into your lives as your friend. You two are a match made in heaven and I can’t wait to watch how both of you grow together and fall more in love every day. Congratulations, you two! We love you!
